Who I Am
My name is Melanie and I’m a certified professional in interventions located in Montreal, Canada. Over the past 24 years, I have built my career as Specialized Educator and Clinical Specialist at a government-run readaptation center, working with Special Needs children and adults. My specialty lies in effectively addressing behavioral challenges in individuals with autism, ADHD, and various special needs of any age.
Throughout my career, I've successfully implemented and supported families through 100’s of interventions, using evidence-based best practices. I have collaborated with and trained under a diverse range of professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, sexologists, criminologists, lawyers, psycho-educators, behavioral specialists, occupational therapists (OTs), speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and renowned figures in the field of autism and ADHD.
I understand and empathize with your struggles and will only implement strategies that align with your needs, goals and readiness. Every child is unique as is every family, and I will cater my approach to meet the abilities of everyone involved. I am here to help make your life a little easier.
